The world’s leading clear aligner, Invisalign offers a discreet, comfortable and convenient way to straighten your teeth. The nearly invisible Invisalign trays are removable, so you can eat, drink, brush and floss as usual.
How is Invisalign different from braces?
Instead of the metal brackets and wires of braces, the Invisalign system uses a series of plastic aligners to straighten your smile. The aligner sets are computer-generated and sequenced based on information and images that we capture. So your aligners are unique to you. Each set of aligners is carefully designed to make small changes to the position of your teeth. You’ll switch aligner sets about every two weeks, as your teeth gradually move to their ideal positions. To make sure your smile is progressing as planned, you’ll also visit your Arden Dental Group doctor regularly – though not as frequently as braces require.
What types of issues does Invisalign treat?
Typically, Invisalign treats many of the same orthodontic issues that are treated with braces. Our dentists may recommend Invisalign to correct:
Gapped and oddly spaced teeth
Overbite, underbite, crossbite and open bite
How do I know if Invisalign is right for me?
During your initial visit, we will determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign. Every smile is different and requires an individualized plan. This treatment is often a good choice for adults and teens who are interested in a virtually invisible orthodontic solution.
